All:
Please remember that once BOK allows the funds to be disbursed to the employees, the overages on PTO will be taken from that final paycheck per management. Also remember, no unused but already accrued PTO will be paid. I'm sorry to be the bearer of this yucky news, I just wanted to make sure you all were prepared in case your check differs from you thought it would be. Once the checks are ready to be paid, we will be providing backup so that there is no confusion.
Thanks All!

With all due respect Jennifer, I do not believe for a second that Workman has any intention of paying anyone. He can put the blame all he wants on BOK or the economy, but he and he alone is the one at fault here. He is the CEO, the leader and he failed at his job and I'm not so sure it wasn't intentional. He ruined what little relationship we had with the largest retailer in the world. It's surprising that so many ex-BSW employees still don't see that. If he truly cared for BSW employees, he would have warned what was obviously imminent and given us a chance to find a job while still having a job.
Workman asks us to be patient? Please! I'll just tell the creditors to be patient, I'm sure they'll understand. I'll tell the hospital calling wanting money to be patient because I thought I had insurance. I'll tell my child care provider to be patient because the money I had paid into my flex account is now gone.
Be patient? All the while workman is up trying to sell computers to HEI with "We'll work the money out later"..wink wink even though the computers are BOK property. He's going to take what he can get and leave the rest of us holding the bag. In 60 days the rage many people hold will die down and I believe he's counting on that to keep his problems minimal. I have already filed a claim with Oklahoma Department of Labor and also in talks with an attorney. If he or anyone else for that matter has done any mis-managing of employees money, i.e. withheld employee money for 401k, insurance or flex plan and then did not pay them, I hope it comes to fruition and they are punished to the full extent of the law.
If Workman is the good guy he is trying to have us believe he is, let him start paying his employees from his own millions. Afterall, it was his employees working diligently over the years who made him that money in the first place. Many of those employees were salaried putting in numerous hours of OT. If he did that...I might believe he is a good guy, but not until.
